I've ...Henry; Thanks for your gracious remarks. I've gone back and provided credit to JBS, I wasn't aware of their article at the time.

One of the most difficult tasks we face is to convince those on the other side - especially the young high-schoolers and college crowds who, even as they trudge to class every day, are convinced that they already know everything worth knowing. It seems to be much easier to influence thinking in small dribs and drabs than it is to present it to them wholesale and in plain sight. In that, we have lost the advantage. The inexorable problem we face is that we cannot afford the luxury of giving up, while the enemy within gets full pay and benefits to poison impressionable minds.Chuck Tealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17743617891175582131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6304676862457881364.post-69509562795262387162010-05-02T16:19:12.801-04:002010-05-02T16:19:12.801-04:00You really hit the nail on the head with a lot of ...You really hit the nail on the head with a lot of this. Beck may have been the only mainstream source. As you mentioned, there was a New American article on Thursday and the John Birch Society also sent out a call to action on Wednesday.

Part of the reason you might not have heard from groups like the JBS or seen articles from non-mainstream sources such as the New American might literally have to do with funding. Resources are limited in the world of real volunteer activism and while many more people are being snapped awake by the cacophonous alarm clock of what's going on around us, the crumbling economy and plight of free enterprise is a serious barrier. On that note, what sets us apart from these leftist groups? Is America really "changing” as media keeps suggesting? Many left-wing activists have certainly been wisped into this line of thought by years of propaganda but again, a big part of it is probably funding. A lot of these groups, which you accurately labeled "front groups", have the support of big foundations and are also being propped up by the same process that's squeezing our resources. Many of them such as La Raza, a group connected to the Reconquista movement and whose name literally means “The Race”, are receiving federal tax dollars! Such redistribution of wealth is not only offensive; it is a blatant violation of our Constitution!

You’re right that there is a war being waged against the American republic and our personal, economic, and religious freedom. It is as much leftist as it is globalist.

For the honest Marxist, if that isn't an oxymoron to the readers here, this is simply a part of the plan. Marxists see the "struggle of the worker" as transcending national boundaries. They also see their philosophy as bigger and more sophisticated than the individual or individuality, and also more advanced than God or religion. Equalizing the "haves and have-nots" globally is an important step towards establishing a communist utopia. (On this point, I've always wondered how so many Marxists can continue to "believe" in light of the horrible abuses that always occur under instances of communism. Perhaps the ones who actually know about them and aren't just deluding themselves make excuses a la "the ends justify the means" on the basis of their utopia only being fully realized once it goes global. However, most of the readers here probably know better that this is just a grotesque pipe dream. Well, we aren’t the only ones...)

Consider the second group. These are the straight globalists. Some may hold to ideas from the "realist" school of political philosophy such as the Wilsonian mirage of achieving world peace through global governance. Some in the neoconservative movement see this as an issue of empire or think that our "just and fair" system would benefit those who would come under it under us, our “allies”, or perhaps the UN. However, most of the driving force in this camp is made up of oligarchs, plain and simple. They see themselves as above the rules and are seeking power and profit for the sake of power and profit. So, if you've ever wondered why the wealthy Establishment would ever encourage the seemingly counterproductive ideologies of Marxism or Progressivism, consider the corporatist realization on the top versus the idealistic push from the bottom thus far as well as this intersection on the point of globalism. Most of those starry-eyed young people are simply tools of this Establishment. If they ever found out what they were really fighting for (or that it was conservatives and Christians standing up to it), they'd probably lose their lunch. Unfortunately, they’ve been trained to resist and dismiss anything outside of their packaged revolution.Henrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6304676862457881364.post-37972470787272499612010-01-01T00:33:50.475-05:002010-01-01T00:33:50.475-05:00A Prayer for the Nation

I really appreciate the work taht you do in filtering all of this 'stuff' for people. I don't like where things have been headed for a long time, and I certainly carry a level of concern for Jessica and myself, but especially for my children. Yet whenever I get too down (which happens all too often) I am helped by remembering that God is in control of everything, and in the best some of the most important work He gave His people to do was bless the 'city' even while He was judging it.

God bless,

Jason BAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6304676862457881364.post-58696498235218756062009-08-06T21:57:06.116-04:002009-08-06T21:57:06.116-04:00We live in dangerous times, and the greatest dange...We live in dangerous times, and the greatest danger comes from our own ignorance.
